Kashi Sehgal
CO-FOUNDER & CEO

Kashi is Co-Founder and CEO of Gigabark where she oversees the company’s sales, marketing and operational initiatives.

Previously, Kashi spent time as a management consultant at Accenture where she worked in the talent and organizational performance service line for both government and Fortune 100 clients on issues such as visioning and gap analysis, cost reduction, communication plans, training, performance measurement, incentive structures and more. She also has experience in strategic planning for startups and non-profits after previously starting two successful non-profits.

Kashi is actively engaged in the Atlanta community serving on various boards over the last several years such as SuperNova South, WonderRoot, Fulton County Career & Technical Education, Amplify4Good, Georgia’s WIN List, and WINGS for Kids and committees such as the Metro Atlanta Chamber’s Mobility Leadership Council, ChooseATL, Atlanta Regional Commission’s Innovation Committee, and Lovett School’s Sustainability Committee.

Kashi is a native Atlantan. She graduated from The George Washington University with a degree in Psychology and minors in Communication and Music. She then attended Georgia Tech for graduate school in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Kashi was selected as one of Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 40 Under 40 in 2014 and as a member of the 2013 LEAD Atlanta and LaunchPad2X classes. She volunteers her time with educational initiatives for kids, mentoring and with organizations such as CARE, Acumen and others.


Nathan Shadle
CO-FOUNDER & CTO

Nathan is Co-Founder and CTO of Gigabark where he oversees technology direction, implementation, and operations.

Nathan has over 20 years of industry expertise in telecommunications, cellular and traditional telephony, software development, cable and video, network architecture, and customer applications. He has experience architecting and implementing major solutions affecting millions of customer, managing teams, projects, and multi-million dollar labs at AT&T/Lucent, Cisco Systems, Comcast, Cox Communications, Sprint, Motorola, and JP Morgan Chase, as well as a number of small firms. Nathan also has entrepreneurial experience, most notably as owner/operator of a rental car business with nearly $1M in annual sales.

Nathan is originally from East Canton, Ohio, and is a cum laude graduate of Ball State University with a BS degree in Computer Science. Nathan also attended NC State University for graduate school in Electrical Engineering. Nathan also volunteers his time as a technical consultant or photographer for organizations such as NeuroLogic International (Quito, Ecuador), Mentor Walk (Atlanta) and Pop-Up Play (Philadelphia).

R.K. Sehgal (Chair)

R.K. is the former Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Industry, Trade and Tourism and founded Tour de Georgia – an internationally respected bicycle race around Georgia. R.K. also served as Chairman and CEO of Law Companies, an engineering consulting company with 60 offices in the U.S. and 40 offices internationally.

R.K. is the longest serving Board Member (30+ years) for Northside Hospital and serves on the boards of the Carter Center, Southern Center for International Studies and as a major partner and Board Member of Primacy Industries International in India. He has served in many other capacities including Chair of the Advisory Board for Georgia State University’s Business School, Board of Trustees for Oglethorpe University, member of the Auburn University Industry Liaison Council, and as a board member for Aaron Rents, Citizens Trust Bank, Smart Fuel Cell Energy in Germany, Sortimo in Germany and as Vice Chairman for H.J. Russell and Company. R.K. also serves as a consultant around the world to companies such as DaimlerChrysler and several Fortune 10 companies and State governments in the U.S. and in India.

INC magazine named R.K. Georgia’s Entrepreneur of the Year in 1988. Engineering News Record honored him with its lead story in May 1989. Business Atlanta and Georgia Trend magazines put R.K. on their magazines’ covers, and in 2000 the Atlanta Business Chronicle named him one of the 100 Most Influential People in Atlanta. R.K. also traveled with President Clinton to Jordan and Israel for the signing of the historic peace agreement. He has a Civil Engineering degree from Auburn University and lives in Atlanta, Georgia.


Ross Mason

Ross is the former Chairman of the Department of Community Health Board - the 3rd largest health plan in the United States with a $11.2 billion annual budget and 660,000 covered lives. He is also the former Chairman of the Metro Atlanta United Way’s Health Access Board and former Chairman of the Board of Visitors of Georgia Regents University.

Ross serves on Emory’s Healthcare Advisory Board and is the current Chairman of the Commercialization Advisory Board for the Rick Hansen Institute in Vancouver, Canada. He serves on the Board of Directors of Street Grace - a nonprofit devoted to rescuing children who are being trafficked here in Atlanta and also serves as a Senior Fellow at the Georgia Public Policy Foundation - a nonprofit that works to improve the lives of Georgians through public policies that enhance economic opportunity and freedom.

In his professional life Ross is a venture capitalist and healthcare consultant. He lived and worked in San Francisco from 1999 to 2004 where he started and sold a healthcare software company. He also worked for Volkswagen’s Healthcare Venture Accelerator Fund in Germany, was an Associate in Private Banking at Morgan Stanley, and created a real estate investment and development company in Moscow, Russia that he owned and operated for 12 years. Ross holds a bachelors degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech and a masters of business administration in finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Prior to Ross' bike accident in 2007 that left him paralyzed from the collar bone down, Ross was actively involved in triathlons, wreck, cave, and ice diving, surfing, rock and ice climbing, and was a NASCAR certified driver.

Today, Ross is still very active consulting with healthcare companies and, through his venture philanthropy, works with leading healthcare innovators to help bring solutions to some of today's most difficult health care challenges. Ross' passion is partnering with innovators who share a passion for the indigent and uninsured, children in the autistic spectrum, wounded warriors and their families, and victims of sex trafficking. Becky Blalock

Becky is the Managing Partner at Advisory Capital, a consulting firm providing strategic insight for companies involved in the energy, information technology, and medical industries. In 2013, her bestselling book DARE: Straight Talk on Confidence, Courage, and Career for Women in Charge was published. She is a sought-after speaker, board member, and thought leader in several industries.

During the 33 year career with Southern Company, Becky held a variety of leadership positions before becoming the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. She spent almost a decade directing IT strategy and operations across nine subsidiaries of Southern Company. Under her leadership, Southern Company invested more than a billion dollars in new technology initiatives and was recognized as one of the utility industries most innovative companies and one of the best places to work in IT.

She is the recipient of numerous honors including CIO of the year in the utility industry and Premier IT Leader, a CIO Lifetime Achievement Award and for her community work.

Becky chairs the Emory Healthcare Advisory Board and serves on Advisory Boards of Ideastring, Gigabark and First Century Energy and is a board member of the Electric Power Research Institute.


Joia Johnson

Joia has been the Chief Legal Officer at Hanesbrands Inc. as well as the Company Secretary and General Counsel since 2007. Joia also serves as the President at Maidenform (Bangladesh & Indonesia) LLC and Elizabeth Needlecraft LLC.

She has more than 20 years of legal and business experience, including creation and development of corporate law departments and management oversight of real estate, construction, risk management and human resources. She has served as an Executive Vice President of Hanesbrands Inc. since 2007.

Joia joined Hanesbrands from RARE Hospitality International, Inc., a restaurant franchise owner and operator located in Atlanta, where she served in varying capacities as an Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Vice President and Secretary. Prior to joining RARE Hospitality, she held law positions with the law firm Long, Aldridge & Norman (now McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP) in Atlanta. She served as Corporate Counsel for Concessions International, Inc. and as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of H.J. Russell & Company, the largest African American-owned real estate firm in the United States.

She has been the Chair of the Board of Directors at the American Arbitration Association since 2010. Joia is also a Director of Crawford & Company, H.J. Russell & Company, Concessions International and National Service Industries, Inc. She serves on the Board of Governors at Center for Ethics and Corporate Responsibility and has received a number of leadership and legal industry awards during her career.

Joia earned dual graduate degrees at the University of Pennsylvania – a J.D. from the School of Law and MBA from the Wharton School of Business. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Duke University.


Ashish Bahl

As Chairman and CEO of Acculynk, Ashish sets the company’s strategic direction and is responsible for the P&L. Prior to joining Acculynk, Ashish founded Harbor Payments, Inc. in 2000 and served as the CEO until the company was purchased by American Express in December 2006. He then became the Senior Vice President of the EReceivables Business unit. Harbor Payments was the recognized global leader in the emerging electronic invoicing industry and was rated as one of the fastest growing technology firms by Deloitte in 2005.

Prior to founding Harbor Payments, Ashish was formerly at iXL where he was a Senior Vice President of iXL Ventures and the founder of iXL’s Financial Services Practice Group (FSPG). The FSPG provided strategic and technology services to major financial institutions seeking to leverage the Internet for business advantage. Ashish grew the practice to the largest industry component within iXL accounting for approximately 33% of the company’s revenue during 1998 – the year of its IPO.

Prior to iXL, Ashish founded and served as the CEO of Exchange Place Solutions (EXPS), a firm focused on providing strategy and technology solutions to financial services institutions. EXPS’ primary competence was within the area of electronic payments including ACH, Wire, I-ACH, and SWIFT. Exchange Place Solutions was acquired by iXL in 1997.

Ashish holds a B.S. in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. His civic responsibilities include Board positions in Leadership Atlanta, TIE, and the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG).
